Groups Tasmania and Couch Tours Tasmania offer a range of coach tours across Tasmania.
Coach Tours Tasmania are proud to offer a range of day tours ex-Launceston which include all that Tasmania is famous for. Enjoy a comprehensive tour from our program ranging from the full day tours to some of Tasmania’s iconic regions to the shorter half day options of the local area. We operate on a ‘you choose’ system which means the first person to book for a day chooses the tour.
In addition to these tours, Groups Tasmania can organise a coach tour specifically for you. If you are a member of a club or organisation and would like a Tasmanian tour tailor made for your group give us a call. A charter service for up to ten people is available.

  • Name: Cradle Mountain Day Tour
    Description: Because of its natural beauty, Cradle Mountain National Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tasmania. The viewing point for the Mountain is from Dove Lake, and while you are there enjoy a short stroll along this alpine lake’s shores. Experience the history of the region at Waldheim Chalet and there is a chance to see some of the local wildlife. And of course there is Salamanca Place and the magnificent backdrop of Mount Wellington. Lunch is at your own expense. MONA is not open Tuesdays and Salamanca Place hosts the famous Salamanca Market on Saturdays which may impact on time spent at other attractions.

    Description: The Tamar Valley is one of Australia’s premier cool climate wine regions. With more than 20 cellar doors within a short drive from Launceston it is understandable to see why a Tamar Valley Wine Tour is a favourite pastime for visitors to the state.     Description: Some are furry, some are cute, and some are shy and others are dangerous. Some are colourful and then there are some that are mischievous. There are International species, Australian species, and of course native Tasmanian species. Visit the Tasmanian Zoo which has over 80 varieties of birds, Tasmanian devils, penguins, quolls, wombats, echidnas, kangaroos, reptiles, monkeys, koalas, and much more. View the morning feedings of the penguins, followed by the devils feeding. Further North near the mouth of the Tamar River you will tour the Platypus House and then the Seahorse World. For those interested in our wildlife, this is the tour for you. Lunch at your own expense.

    Description: Tasmania is rich in colonial heritage. This half day tour visits National Heritage Listed properties Clarendon Estate, Woolmers Estate and Entally House. These grand estates are filled with antiques and history. You can just feel the contrasting lifestyles of opulence compared to colonial hardships as you wander from room to room. And in the grounds you will find hidden treasures in the old stables and sheds. Plus, it is not all about history as you will get time to explore the spectacular gardens that are lovingly cared for, with each specific season showcasing colour and beauty of different plant and flower varieties.

    Description: Relbia is situated 15 minutes South of Launceston, and with the majestic backdrop of Ben Lomond. The rolling hills of Relbia are fast becoming a popular location for vineyards. Easily matching the quality of wines found further North in the Tamar Valley, Relbia’s vineyards are constantly winning awards nationally. This afternoon tour visits two vineyards, with wine tastings at the first, and a shared cheese platter at the second to compliment their wine tasting.
